Terms of use

Terms

Effective October 7, 2026

These terms apply to your use of calcbrite.com (“CalcBrite”, “we”), operated by CalcBrite. By using the site you agree to them.

Estimates, not advice

CalcBrite calculators produce estimates from published reference data and stated assumptions. They are general information to help you plan. They are not engineering, legal, financial, safety or professional advice, and they don’t account for every condition of your project, property or local rules.

Before you act on an estimate — for example before you book a dumpster — confirm the details that only a provider or professional can confirm, such as included weight allowances, container dimensions, prohibited materials, permits and pricing. Each calculator page lists what to confirm.

Accuracy and corrections

We work to keep our data sourced and current, and each calculator shows its sources, version and the date it was last reviewed. We still can’t promise that every figure is correct or complete for your situation. If you spot a problem, please send a correction.

Third-party sites

Some actions open third-party sites, such as a Google search for rentals near a ZIP code you enter. We don’t list, rank, endorse or verify any provider, and we aren’t responsible for third-party content, pricing or services.

Acceptable use

Use the site for its intended purpose. Don’t scrape it at a rate that disrupts the service, attempt to interfere with its operation, or misrepresent CalcBrite results as professional certification.

Intellectual property

The site’s design, text and code are ours or used with permission. You may quote and link to CalcBrite with attribution. Reference data cited on the site belongs to its original publishers.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CalcBrite is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for decisions made in reliance on an estimate — including renting the wrong size container or incurring overage fees.

Privacy

Our Privacy policy explains what we collect and why.

Changes

We may update these terms; the effective date above will change when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
